Job Responsibilities
• Develop content ideas that align with the brand and improve SEO performance.
• Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps or areas of improvement in content
• Perform content audits to optimize old copies and outdated content.
• Publish content on the website and blog.
• Perform broad keyword analysis and selection of broad and long tail keyword combinations
• Optimization of on-page information including page content, meta tags, heading tags, alt tags/attributes
• Develop internal linking strategies to disperse value throughout the whole site
• Conduct keyword research using various tools (like Keyword Planner and Ahrefs, Semrush etc.)
• Have a good knowledge of HTML.
Specific Knowledge/Requirements
• 2-4 years of experience in SEO, working with Google/other search engines
• Command over the English language with good written and verbal communications skills
• Owns a blog or has experience in running a blog.
• Hands-on knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Can take ownership of the entire blogging section/website content.
• Knows how to create an inbound sales funnel via content marketing and convert visitors
• Can work under tight deadlines and deliver a project on time.
