Job Description
Performance Tester ? JD Core Skills: · Min of 8 to 10+ years? experience with Performance Testing and tuning. · Review functional design and non-functional requirements and provide recommendations · Should understand the challenges and strategies to effectively implement performance testing in an agile or Continuous delivery environment. · Familiar with real-time user-facing testing methodologies and approaches. · Familiar with batch or background testing methodologies and approaches. · Strong understanding of the monitoring solutions and KPIs used to determine availability and performance of the technology stacks of the following: (Web (Apache) Application (JBOSS or Weblogic or Websphere) and Database (SQL or DB2 or Oracle)). · Experience using diagnostic tools like New Relic Dynatrace HTTP Watch Fiddler IE and Chrome Developer Tools · Expertise in Test Planning Test Estimation Test Strategy Work Load Design Test Cases Design Test Environment Setup Test Data Setup Defect Management & Configuration Management. · Must possess a strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and technologies including web web services .net Java Apache JBOSS and VMWare. · In-depth knowledge and working experience with Performance Center JMeter neoload Wiley HP Site scope and other latest Performance Engineer & Performance Testing tools (i.e. CA Lisa Virtualization) and Open Source performance testing tools (Apache JMeter WebLOAD etc) · Must be familiar with load test scripts in the following protocols: Rest IBM MQ HTTP SOAP AJAX Flex ODBC and Java RMI · Ability to work in a collaborative ?team-oriented environment using and implementing best practice programs with respect to load generation bottleneck analysis usage of modeling tools and statistical analysis. · Strong problem solving skills and very good time management skills. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills
