Job Description
We are looking for a talented AOSP developer to join our team to build the Android OS for the XR-2 . The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing, debugging, and porting the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) onto devices. Knowledge of Project Treble is a must, as it has revolutionized how AOSP ROMs are ported onto devices, making the process quicker and more efficient
Responsibilities
Develop, debug, and port AOSP onto XR-2
Work with the Android 12 source code and keep up-to-date with the latest Android versions
Configure the build environment, install the necessary software packages, libraries, and tools, and download the source code
Unlock the bootloader of the XR-2 Smartglass before flashing the resultant build
Qualifications
Proven experience in developing, debugging, and porting AOSP onto devices.
Expert knowledge of Android OS and its latest versions.
Familiarity with Project Treble and its impact on custom AOSP ROM development.
Experience with bootloader unlocking and flashing builds onto devices.
Proficiency in using fastboot commands to flash images
Knowledge of Google Glass app development is a plus
