Job Overview
We are looking for a AP Lead who can lead the day to day accounts payable function handling a team of 3-5 people.
Responsibilities
• Lead day to day accounts payables function
• Responsible to maintain strong vendor relations
• Responsible for vendor SOA reconciliations, timely payments & reducing vendor discrepancies
• Handing a team of upto 5 people
• Responsible for checking vendor margins & work on abnormalities
• Maintain documentation for each activity performed to comply with requirement of audit and company process
• Assist in quarterly review and annual audit with external and internal auditors
• Identify gaps in process, assist in development and implementation of processes and procedures to bridge the gaps
• Liaising with other departments, internally or externally in order to ensure correct accounting
• Perform other related tasks as assigned
Skills required
• CA Intermediate level qualification
• Accounting and Management reporting knowledge (Clear understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles)
• Effective Communication and presentation skills
• Attention to Detail and clear in approach
• Worked with cross function team
• Experience in leading a team
• Knowledge of ERP Tool, Experience of Microsoft Dynamics will be preferred
• System knowledge, Data Entry skills and Proficiency in MS Office – specially Excel
• Energetic and go getter
• General Math skills
