Job Title: A & P Mechanic
• The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr DOE
Job Description
• We are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team in San Diego, CA. We pride ourselves on consistently exceeding our customers’ expectations and creating lifelong relationships with our clientele.
• The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for the accomplishment of all work assigned in accordance with policies, procedures, requirements, and specifications established by the Company, applicable government agencies, and the manufacturers as contained in the approved technical publications.
Responsibilities
• Perform Line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers' aircraft.
• Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases (within scope of approval) returning aircraft to service.
• Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components; effectively perform work to meet deadlines and performance goals.
• Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment according to Approved Technical Data provided by the customer.
• Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FAR’s and the air carrier/manufacturer manuals and all work performed is properly documented.
• Perform line maintenance duties, activities, and maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate and communicate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.
Essential Skills
• Current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
• 3+ years of Line maintenance experience
• Experience with Airbus aircraft
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, utilize hand and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawl
• Ability to frequently lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds
• Awareness of working near and around moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals and exposure to loud noises
• Utilize visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information
• Exposure to weather conditions outside as well as extreme heat or cold
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to pass airport security checks
• Willingness to travel for work as required
• Flexibility to work night and weekend shifts to meet customer demand
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience on B767-200/300 aircraft types
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Customer-facing skills and ability to work with the flight crew in a professional manner
• Independent, self-motivated, and able to work without direct supervision

Work Environment
• The role is based at San Diego International Airport on the flightline.
• The schedule consists of 4 X 10-hour shifts, with hours from 6pm - 4:30am or 12:30am - 11:00am.
• Candidates must be flexible as the schedule may vary due to flight schedules.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
