Job Description

We are looking for a Fixed Term Parental leave cover AP Specialist to coordinate our outsourced AP services ensuring a smooth process for three-way matching between the purchase order (PO), goods receipt and invoice. You will be the critical link between our internal stakeholders (colleagues raising POs) and our outsourced AP provider.

In this role, you will:

Manage the offshore outsourced AP relationship with IBM in the Philippines, including KPI analysis, through regular calls and meetings – Some of these meetings may be in the evening

Review and approve AP supplier payments with the help of SAP

Keep our Vendor Management System (SAP) up-to-date

Train and support our staff in the correct Purchase Order and Goods receipting processes and troubleshoot where required

Analyse our AP (balance, ageing, action plan) and produce monthly reports

Ensure the timely reconciliation of GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) & Trade payables accounts, and review and complete supplier reconciliations

Qualifications

For this role as an AP Specialist role, we’re looking for someone who has:

Accounts Payable experience and experience with the reconciliation of GRNI and balance sheet accounts

Ideally you have worked with offshore AP partners before

SAP experience is required

Intermediate Excel skills, e.g., pivot tables

You have a proactive attitude and will investigate and reach out to stakeholders to find answers

You are detail and process oriented and double-check your work to ensure it’s accurate

You’re a clear communicator who enjoys helping and training colleagues
