Job Description
We are hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Apartment Turnover Cleaner for ongoing work cleaning vacant apartments after residents move out.
Apartments include:
Studios
1-bedroom
2-bedroom
3-bedroom
This role requires deep cleaning and strong attention to detail to prepare apartments for the next tenant.
Responsibilities:
Perform full deep cleaning of vacant apartments
Clean floors, baseboards, and walls
Clean cabinets (inside & outside)
Clean appliances (inside ovens, refrigerators, microwaves)
Clean and sanitize bathrooms
Clean sinks, tubs, toilets, and tile
Clean windows, vents, and light fixtures
Clean behind and under appliances
Remove dust, debris, and residue
Ensure apartments are move-in ready
Communicate job completion clearly
Work professionally in residential buildings
Productivity Expectations:
1–3 apartments per day depending on size and condition
Schedule:
Ongoing work as available
Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Earlier start times can be discussed
Pay Structure:
Paid per day
Rate depends on:
– Number of apartments
– Size of units
– Level of cleaning required
Materials & Tools:
Cleaner must provide their own basic cleaning tools and products
Required Qualifications:
Prior experience cleaning apartments or similar residential units
Strong attention to detail
Able to work efficiently and meet deadlines
Reliable and punctual
Must speak basic English
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be comfortable working as an independent contractor
Able to work independently or with a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with apartment turnovers or move-out cleaning
Experience in NYC buildings (apartments or condos)
Flexible schedule for short-notice jobs
Professional and respectful with building staff
