Our client is looking for a developer to assist with analysis and building of APIs in support of external applications to their Workday environment
The ASP API team supports the current ATP project (Workday) by creating APIs for various external applications that require HR and Financial data
Work closely and collaboratively with the rest of the development team in a Scrum Agile work structure
Actively participate in daily stand-ups, refinement sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Coordinate with Functional Business analysts and testing leads to troubleshoot and discuss problem resolution
Code and design APIs for future-state ancillary system use

Location: Remote work in Madison, WI
Hours: North America Central Time zone 40 hours per week with 9am 4pm CST core hours.

Key Responsibilities
• Work closely and collaboratively with the rest of the development team in a Scrum Agile work structure.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
• 3 5 years of Python.
• 3 years AWS experience.
• Experience with database design, setup, and maintenance. Minimum 2 years of API building experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with frameworks
• Terraform
• Gitlab CI/CD
• Apigee API management.
• AWS certifications related to data engineering or databases are a plus.
• Experience working in Higher Ed institutions.
• Experience using Agile/Scrum practices.
• Workday implementation experience.
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, ECS, and Athena.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow developers, sharing insights into best practices, tips, and techniques for optimizing AWS data solutions.
