API Integration and Dashboard Reporting Engineer (AWS) for computer vision project
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated API Integration and Dashboard Reporting Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating APIs and developing dashboard reporting solutions within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our data-driven decision-making processes and enable the visualization and analysis of key business metrics. Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance API integrations between various systems and applications within the AWS environment.
Design and implement scalable and efficient solutions for integrating data from multiple sources into a unified dashboard reporting system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and create API integration strategies that align with business objectives.
Transform raw data into meaningful insights by leveraging data manipulation techniques and data transformation tools in AWS.
Build and maintain interactive dashboards using AWS visualization tools to present key metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
Ensure data accuracy, quality, and reliability by implementing data validation and error handling mechanisms.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API integrations and dashboard reporting, working closely with the development and operations teams.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in API integration, data manipulation, and dashboard reporting within the AWS ecosystem.
Document integration processes, data flows, and dashboard specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure continuity.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members, promoting a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Provide Support after implementation
Must be willing to travel and install setup, calibrate IR cameras at factory locations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
Proven experience in API integration and development within AWS, using technologies such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, AWS Step Functions, or similar.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and data serialization formats.
Proficiency in data manipulation, transformation, and analysis using AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS Athena, or AWS Redshift.
Solid experience with data visualization and dashboard creation using tools like Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI.
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) and SQL.
Working knowledge of AWS security and authentication mechanisms (IAM, Cognito, etc.).
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving API-related issues, as well as performance optimization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Big Data Specialty) are a plus.
