You will be adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic and supportive team. Reporting to the Manager People Services, you will be a trusted partner providing strategic and operational guidance and support across the full spectrum of HR. You must be a doer and someone that is happy to roll your sleeves up and get stuff done. You will be skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships across the business and quickly building credibility with leaders and staff. You will ensure HR initiatives are enabling MfE to meet the wider strategic goals of the organisation.

You will bring:
substantial experience in providing contemporary HR advice at a business partner level
good generalist base of experience spanning the range of people practices and experiences
ability to work at a strategic partnership level with senior leaders, establishing credibility and influence
strong change management capability and evidence of developing and delivering fit for purpose HR initiatives to the business
a solution focussed approach to assessing situations using your skills, knowledge and experience to reach the best outcome for everyone
commitment to developing your cultural capability and capacity in te ao Maori.
The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to building relationships, have a strong customer focus and an ability to deliver credible solutions in a complex environment.
Along with holding the relevant tertiary qualifications, you will enjoy a challenge, be resilient, confident, and motivated.
Whanuitanga Utu a-Tau | Salary range
Salary range for this role is $118,318 to $143,6+5 pa. Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
