Greetings from LG Home Comfort..! Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Application Developer with expertise in developing both iOS and Android applications to join our growing HVAC business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for our customers and field technicians. You will work closely with our engineering and operations teams to deliver high-quality apps that enhance our HVAC services and customer experience. Objectives of this role Build and maintain web and mobile applications for our organization Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure applications align with organizational goals as well as customer needs Oversee the performance of applications to ensure they’re always running properly Improve our overall application development process and continuously find ways to advance our apps Key Responsibilities: App Development: Design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. Cross-Platform Solutions: Work on cross-platform technologies (e.g., React Native, Flutter) to ensure the app works seamlessly on both iOS and Android devices. UI/UX Design: Collaborate with design teams to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that reflect the brand and meet customer needs. Integration: Integrate third-party APIs, HVAC-specific tools, and services like scheduling, ticketing, customer support, and payment systems. Testing & Debugging: Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security. Maintenance & Updates: Regularly update the apps to fix bugs, improve functionality, and implement new features based on user feedback. Collaboration: Work with backend developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of mobile apps with existing systems. Customer Support: Assist customer support teams by troubleshooting mobile app issues and providing solutions to customers as needed. Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for app architecture, development process, and deployment procedures. Security: Ensure mobile apps are secure, especially in handling sensitive customer data related to HVAC services (e.g., billing, account details). Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience: Proven experience as a Mobile App Developer with proficiency in both iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin/Java) app development. Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks like React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin. Familiarity with HVAC business requirements or related industries is a plus. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mobile app development tools and environments. Experience with APIs, Firebase, and other backend technologies for mobile app integration. Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, mobile responsiveness, and adaptive design. Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and version control systems (e.g., Git). Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience with IoT: Familiarity with IoT technologies related to HVAC systems for integration with mobile apps. Experience in HVAC: Knowledge of HVAC systems and related services to understand user requirements more effectively. Experience with Analytics: Experience in implementing app analytics tools to track user behavior and improve app performance. Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices.
