Mobile application development is the process of making software for smartphones, tablets and digital assistants, most commonly for the Android and iOS operating systems. The software can be preinstalled on the device, downloaded from a mobile app store or accessed through a mobile web browser.
Mobile application developers require advanced programming skills, particularly in mobile application languages such as JavaScript, C++, Python and C#. Programming language proficiency demonstrates your ability to use the languages to build functional mobile applications
On a day-to-day basis, a software developer helps create and test software from start to finish. They discuss and analyze user requests and requirements, then research and brainstorm practical solutions to meet those needs, and determine the best course of action to create the application.
Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code.
Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions.
Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.
Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
