Project Role Description : Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Job Requirements :
Key Responsibilities :
1. Should be able to architect and design complex applications
1. Design and development of complex data transformation using Teradata and Abinitio
2. Working on Enhancements by maintaining existing Abinitio graphs & designing new graphs
3. Collaborate with other team members to determine data extraction and transformation process
4. Strong analytical skills
Technical Experience :
Total ++ years.
Experience required: ++ years experience in ETL (5+ minimum recent exp. on Abinitio and remaining exp on any other ETL tool)
The ideal candidate will have over + years of hands-on experience in Ab Initio development(atleast 5 years on abinitio and remaining on any ETL tool) and a deep understanding of various Ab Initio components and their applications in ETL processes. The candidate should be proficient in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that meet business requirements, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Ab Initio.
Utilize Ab Initio components such as Reformat, Join, Rollup, Scan, Filter by Expression, Replicate, Merge, Redefine Format, Sort, Dedup Sort, etc.
Read and write Excel files within Ab Initio workflows.
Implement different join types and ensure data integrity and performance.
Employ partition by components and dataset components including input/output/lookup files.
Leverage Ab Initio's parallelism to optimize performance and scalability.
Design and implement various types of flows, including serial and multifile systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ab Initio applications and workflows.
Optimize ETL processes for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
Maintain and enhance existing Ab Initio applications to meet evolving business needs.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers on best practices and advanced Ab Initio techniques.
Candidate should have strong understanding of data warehousing concepts like slowly changing dimensions/change data capture
He should be very strong at SQL concepts like aggregations functions, window functions.
Candidate should have very good analytical skills and must have performed secondary warranty support in production.
Candidate should be familiar with agile concepts and should be able to handle team size of at-least 5-10 members.
He should be able to communicate daily status, resolve impediments and highlight risks.
Hands-on experience in Autosys and unix shell scripting
