We are currently seeking a App. Software Dev. Assoc. Director to join our team in BANGALORE, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Senior SDET – Sub practice lead
Must have
Experience of building complex test automation frameworks from scratch
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript programming language and OOP (object oriented programming/principles)
Working with Git repositories and workflows (GitHub would be the primary choice but also GitLab or Bitbucket will be beneficial)
Proactively collaborate with the Front-end development team, understand the design of the Front-end and discussing issues with the developers to better understand requirements and expectations
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their importance in Automation Testing process
Exposure to command line and scripting languages for at least one OS (Windows or Linux)
Good coding skills (SOLID, DI, Design Patterns, etc.)
Able to unit test the framework built
Working with repositories (preferably Git)
Automation experience (Cucumber/Specflow, XUnit, TestNg, etc.)
Web UI testing experience (different browsers)
API testing experience
Mobile Web/App testing experience (if the automation skills are good then this is can be a "nice to have")
Ability to work as part of team or on their own (as we are consultants)
Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines
Experience in test automation building frameworks based on JavaScript (Cypress as a primary choice but other JS fw will be beneficial)
Knowledge of Page Object Model design methodology
Web UI testing experience (different browsers)
Knowledge of mocking and stubbing approaches (Cypress API is preferred but other tools like Wiremock are also good)
Ability to work as part of an Agile team
Nice to have
Knowledge or exposure to any other language would be beneficial (Java especially)
Experience with BDD
API testing experience
Ability to perform unit tests and component tests for React applications (Jest, even better if using TDD approach)
Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and ability to apply changes and improvements when required
Some background in DevOps knowledge/tools will be a plus (Docker, Deployment of services, Kubernates… any of that is gold)
Knowledge of integration testing strategies (Contract testing will be a plus)
Exposure to command line and scripting languages for multiple OSs
