Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as an Apparel Designer located in Delhi, India. The Apparel Designer will be responsible for trims, fitting, fashion design, textiles, and overall fashion creation and development.
Qualifications
Experience in Trims, Fitting, and Fashion Design
Proficiency in Textiles and understanding of fabric materials
Creativity and passion for fashion
Strong attention to detail and understanding of garment construction
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
Experience in the apparel industry is a plus
Dynamic and detail- oriented Apparel Designer with two years of experience in the fashion and apparel industry. Proven track record of developing innovative and creative apparel designs that are in line with market trends, customer needs and brand identity. Exceptional ability to identify opportunities for product innovation and design. Experienced in creating technical specifications and quality assurance.
Core Skills :
Creative design and illustration
Strong eye for detail
Excellent knowledge of fabric and construction
Expertise in CAD (Computer aided design) software
Strong communication and organizational skills
Fashion trend forecasting
Responsibilities :
To train a team of 25 students on the APEX software for garment designs.
Created illustration boards, sketches, and technical specifications for product design.
Analyzed new trends in fabrics, colors, and construction.
Studied the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product innovation.
Conducted market research to develop unique and creative designs.
Collaborated with the creative team to develop apparel designs.
