About the Role:
AppDynamics's Platform Alerting organization enables easier and faster troubleshooting with low noise Alerts and high-quality insights into the causes of those Alerts. You will develop highly scalable Alerting solutions for all system components monitored by AppDynamics.
About You:
You are the kind of engineer who likes developing server-side products, end to end. You enjoy the challenge of difficult, broad, and technically deep tasks in distributed computing. You love working collaboratively with your team and equally enjoy owning and driving your own tasks and projects.
Job Requirement:
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing highly scalable, distributed applications, products, and services
• Significant experience working with Java
• Evaluating and demonstrating new technologies in the product architecture.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, concurrent programming
• Knowledge of Kubernetes/Docker is desirable
• Significant design and Architecture experience (Enterprise Software is a plus)
• Discipline for writing unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits
It is a huge plus if you have:
• Built products from the ground up and can communicate in greater detail
• Experience with infrastructure as code and solid understanding of continuous deployment into a modern container-based environment
