Job Description
The firm is looking to recruit an Appian Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for design; development, testing and implementation of process-centric business process management solutions based on Appian software. You will be required to analyze and understand the firm’s goals as well as the specific project requirements in order to develop and implement the future state business processes.
Primary Responsibilities
• Partners with various stakeholders to gather requirements through understanding of business users' needs and challenges
• Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements
• Design and develop technical solutions on the Appian BPM Suite based on the requirements gathered
• Work closely with Business Analysts to design conceptual workflows and related actions to support the project vision within the solution
• Provide guidance to Business Analysts regarding the implementation complexity of the design
• Responsible for the architecture, design, development and deployment of Appian processes/reports
• Support the remediation of issues that arise in non-development environments, including production
• Lead User Acceptance Testing with various stakeholders
• Work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time
• Work with offshore teams (NY and London)
Qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or other related fields
• 7 – 10 years of experience in development of enterprise-level web applications
• 5+ years of experience in designing BPM applications with 3+ years of Appian BPM experience
• Design & Technical leadership and Project implementation in Appian including designing of workflow, data, UI and integrations.
• Certified Level 2 Appian Developer
• Strong knowledge in design patterns and data level integrations
• Should have experience working with SAIL code and also ability to work with Appian SDK
• Should have familiarity with CDTs and record types in Appian
• Strong understanding of SDLC concepts with working experience in Scrum/Agile project methodologies
• Hands on experience in developing on RDBMS platforms (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)
• In-depth understanding of web concepts such as HTTP, SSL/TLS, HTML, XML, JSON, CSS and JavaScript
• Good logical and analytical reasoning ability
• Fluent English communication and social skills to interact with a global customer base
