The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
Resource will be responsible for the overall software engineering output of the team and you will own the full development lifecycle process inception to production. This includes tangible metrics like velocity and quality, delivering features on time and intangible measures like team morale, learning and improvement and advocating best practices across cross functional teams.
Processes
Day to day job involves leading multi-shore engineers and working closely with product owner to deliver features incrementally in SCRUM methodology.
Work closely with Development Manager and Developers to align on the centralized design standards, frameworks and tools to accelerate deliverables.
Design, Develop, test, deploy and run on Appian cloud.
“Write code for others, not for yourself” - your code will be visible to thousands of developers.
Simplify the business requirements and propose clean design with help of appian.
Hands-on coding, develop high quality code while meeting deadlines.
Good design for given business domain and occasional implementation of POCs.
Work in highly collaborative, fun loving team using Agile methodology.
Good understanding of the Systems Implementation Life Cycle.
Provide unit testing and load testing.
Mentor and coach junior developers.
Hands-on on Appian, Java and SQL.

8 years Java server-side development experience with decent understanding of core design.
Support faster delivery by enforcing the use of agile delivery tools.
Develop and sustain good relationships with clients and colleagues.
Experience of Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Hands-on on Appian, Java and SQL.
Experience with SQL databases.
