Appian SME
Location: Mumbai/Nashik/GIFT City
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and monitor Appian workflows (fund onboarding, deal setup, approvals, task tracking) ensuring SLA adherence
• Validate workflow data (fund, deal, counterparty details) and maintain data quality standards
• Support system integrations (APIs, data warehouses, fund accounting systems) and resolve data sync issues
• Perform reconciliation of workflow outputs vs source systems and generate operational reports
• Handle exceptions end-to-end (triage, resolution, escalation, RCA, SLA tracking)
• Drive process automation (workflow rules, STP improvement, cycle time reduction)
• Administer Appian platform (process models, user access, configurations, releases)
• Act as Appian SME; support stakeholders, training, and SOP documentation

Required Skills
• Hands-on experience with Appian (process modelling, workflows, case management)
• Strong understanding of low-code workflow design & automation
• Experience with APIs, system integrations, and SQL
• Familiarity with data warehouses (Snowflake/SQL Server)
• Reconciliation and operational data validation expertise
Domain Knowledge
• Private equity operations (fund lifecycle, deal workflows, approvals)
• Investment operations, compliance, and governance frameworks
• Data governance, audit trails, and security controls
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s (Finance/Tech-related); MBA or Appian certification preferred
• 2 - 7 years in investment operations / workflow automation / fintech
• Experience in Appian + private equity operations (preferred/required)
