Business Function
Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Banks operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Job Purpose:
• Position is required for project / application management across Professional Clearing, Custody and Treasury business applications.
• Technical Role for Project Management / Production Support of Critical Banking Applications.
Key Accountabilities:
• Project management and end to end delivery for Custody and Treasury related requirement.
• Manage production support activities.
• Manage, plan, and support periodic BCP and DR drill activities across the supported applications.
• Manage and plan periodic application / hardware upgrade, application integration and patching activities in UAT and production servers.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management
• Should have thorough knowledge of incident, problem and change management processes used in banking domain.
Job Duties & responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for Production, UAT and project specific requirements.
• Should have knowledge about Installation and Troubleshooting of various regulatory applications like NEAT, NCMS, NEAT Adapter, DPM, e-Kuber etc. and it s network connectivity with NSE, BSE, NSDL and RBI systems.
• Good understanding of regulatory (SEBI and RBI) framework w.r.t. Trade lifecycle, risk control and IT security.
• The role should have good knowledge of ITIL framework, Linux, Windows, PL/SQL developer, Oracle 12/1+ enterprise edition.
• The candidate should have knowledge of scripting and infrastructure components like networking, virtual private cloud, VDI, SFTP and storage systems i.e. SAN etc.
• Co-ordinate with application echo partners/vendors & bank s internal units in issue resolution in the production and UAT environment.
• Publish regular MIS updates to all stakeholders as an when required.
• Good understanding of SRE model, automation in manual tasks, Jira and raising service/incident tickets.
• The candidate should have good written verbal communication skills, vendor management experience, incident, problem and change management experience.
• As a part of new projects requirement, the role should have experience of collaborating with various infrastructure and development teams for end-to-end solutions delivery.
• Manage regular housekeeping activities for applications and ensure high uptime of applications
• Good understanding of SRE model, prior experience in the automation of manual tasks, knowledge of Jira and service/incident tickets.
Required Experience
• Candidate should have 7 to + years of good working experience in banking, financial markets technology domain.
• Candidate should possess good team leading capabilities and lead by example for their team members.
• For the execution of new / ongoing projects, the role should have prior experience of collaborating with various infrastructure, business analysts and development teams for end-to-end solutions delivery.
• Should possess prior experience in supporting BCP and Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises.
Education / Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor / master s degree in computer science / computer applications / computer engineering.
Core Competencies
• 7 to + years of working experience on the technologies involved in Derivatives Trade Clearing, Treasury, Custody and Depository systems.
• Production and Projects management in banking technology domain.
Technical Competencies
• The role should have good knowledge of ITIL framework, Linux OS, Windows OS, PL/SQL developer, Oracle 12/1+ enterprise edition and basic networking knowledge
• The candidate should have knowledge of windows / Linux scripting and good knowledge on infrastructure components like networking, virtual private cloud (VPC), Oracle Private Cloud (OPC), network load balancers, VDI and storage systems i.e., SAN etc.
