Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AI Application Engineer to lead the design and development of intelligent applications that embed artificial intelligence into enterprise workflows. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building AI-powered features—such as intelligent agents, automation layers, and decision-support tools—without being limited to traditional ML model training.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and build AI-driven applications that integrate with enterprise systems and customer-facing platforms.
• Implement symbolic AI, rule-based systems, and composite AI techniques (e.g. NLP, knowledge graphs, agent-based logic).
• Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to translate use cases into scalable AI solutions.
• Integrate third-party AI development platforms (e.g. Azure AI Foundry, N8N, Google Vertex ) into internal applications.
• Develop APIs and microservices to expose AI capabilities across the organisation.
• Document solution architecture, workflows, and decision logic for maintainability and auditability.
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years focused on AI application development.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry. N8N, or Google Vertex AI.
• Understanding of data integration, APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with knowledge graphs, ontology modelling, or semantic search.
• Exposure to LLMOps or prompt engineering for generative AI applications.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in hospitality, travel, or customer experience platforms is a plus.
