Role must possess ability to translate low level design documents into technical code and unit test cases; interpret design documents into code/pseudo code. Skilled in writing code/unit test cases.
Should be able to write faultless programs to deliver changes.
What will you be doing?
• Develop a thorough understanding of Barclays Financial Assistance applications and tools used. Deliver software changes through quality code which is performant and bug free. Stakeholder communication Amend/Write a low level design documents with a pseudo code. Support quality gates to ensure changes make it to production successfully. Work within team (permanent as well as SI partner) to deliver team objectives.
What we're looking for:
• Strong experience building enterprise software using Java, rest API, micro services and DevOps toolkit. Strong Knowledge of Maria DB SQL, PL/SQL & UNIX Commands and Shell scripting. Exposure to Cloud technologies(AWS) is added advantage. Good understanding and usage of Tivoli Workload Scheduler. Knowledge and experience of more than one recognized development methodology e.g. waterfall Knowledge of configuration management tools & processes such as GIT.
