About the Job
As Android/iOS Technical Lead in PES Team, your mission will be to Architect, Develop and Deploy Android/iOS based Products that cater to millions of users and services various product fits for the company.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes (What the Person needs to accomplish in the role ?)
• Strong in Android and iOS System Architecture. Subject Matter Expert in Customizing Android and iOS Operating System
• Ability to make modifications to the Android and iOS OS to meet specific needs from Business team
• Ability to guide the Development team to design and implement complex, custom applications with high surface area and complicated feature sets
• Performance optimizations of apps and subsystem
• Ability to interface with custom hardware by building drivers etc.
• Ability to develop kickass applications with various HW interfaces like Bluetooth, Zigbee, USB communications etc.
• Lead Technical Architecture, Coding Standards and other Technical
• Ability to debug complex applications and help in providing durable fixes
• Ability to act as RE (Responsible Engineer) for delivering challenging Applications
• Keeping up to date with latest development in Android/iOS Ecosystem
• Qualifications: Education, Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Behaviour) and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from top 100 college and >70% marks through out 10th, 12th.
• 8 to 12 years of solid software development experience in developing Android and iOS Based Applications
• Previous experience in working with customizing Android and iOS Operating System including device drivers, communication protocols, app store etc.
• Ability to code in Java and Kotlin
• Good knowledge and experience with Agile, Clean Code, TDD methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure or knowledge in Renewable Tech companies, IOT, Distributed Systems, Microservices
Familiarity with working in Internet of Things / Hardware integration
Familiarity with customizing Android Hardware for meeting specific needs
