Hecta Infotech is seeking a talented and driven Mobile Application Developer specializing in iOS and/or Android development to join our team. As a Mobile Application Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications for our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly mobile solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with clients, product managers, and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into functional mobile applications.
• Design and develop native mobile applications for iOS and. Android platforms using Swift, Objective-C, Java, or Kotlin.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of mobile applications to ensure they meet functional requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve software defects or issues.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend systems and APIs to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest mobile application development trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and identify areas of improvement.
• Optimize mobile applications for performance, efficiency, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the development and deployment of mobile applications.
• Provide accurate estimates for development tasks and meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mobile Application Developer, specializing in iOS and Android development, preferably with 6 months to 2 years of onsite experience.
• Strong programming skills in Swift, Objective-C, Java, or Kotlin, depending on the platform(s) of focus.
• Experience developing native mobile applications for iOS using Swift and/or Objective-C, or Android using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with mobile app development frameworks and tools, such as Xcode, Android Studio, CocoaPods, or Gradle.
• Knowledge of mobile app design principles, user interface guidelines, and best practices.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into mobile applications.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality mobile applications.
• Experience with cross-platform mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
