Job Title: Application Developer
Contract Duration: 12-24 months
Daily Rate: £550 - £660
Description:
The OneIT team requires an experienced Application Developer to work on key projects, including collaboration and cloud technology implementations. This role is crucial for delivering new capabilities that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, test, and deploy data processing solutions to meet customer needs
• Filter and validate data movement between customers and domains
• Maintain a set of Kubernetes clusters for application deployments across multiple domains
• Develop and maintain NiFi ansible roles for users to create their own clusters
• Provide guidance, training, and support on NiFi
• Contribute to software and infrastructure innovations within OneIT
• Enhance open-source projects used by OneIT with new features and bug fixes
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in Python
• JavaScript expertise
• Familiarity with RHEL/CentOS
Desirable Skills:
• Experience with React
• Knowledge of Django and django rest framework
• Familiarity with Java, C#, Golang, or Go
• CI/CD skills, with Jenkins as a plus
• Experience with OpenShift, Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus Stack, Loki, Apache NiFi, Ansible, KeyCloak, RedHat SSO, or OIDC tokens
