Your Role And Responsibilities
• In charge of code development and development support for the entire CMS 2.x stack.
• Establish and grow knowledge of CMS Code and BPM and enhance or develop new functions.
• Delivery and test of new OS images for Microsoft Windows Server and RedHat Enterprise Linux.
• Root Cause Analysis and fixing of any issues that are found with Automation. Ensure high code quality, unit testing and integration testing of all changes.
• Work with the Provisioning Support Squad to build platform and infrastructure management, provisioning automation and service monitoring using the same methods used in software development to support application development for Cloud products.
• Create a bridge between development and operations by applying a software engineering mindset to system administration topics.
• Build and setup test automation and pipeline frameworks in OpenShift and/or Kubernetes environments.
• Opportunity to work with large strategic accounts for Kyndryl, opportunity for growth (Senior Developer, IT Architect).
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
• Overall 6+ years of experience with at least 4+ years of relevant technical and working skills within a Cloud environment or on a Cloud-based product with proven record for supporting and maintaining high-quality, large-scale solutions.
• 2+ yrs hands-on experience with any Public Cloud provider (Azure preferred).
• 4+ years of working knowledge with at least two operating systems: ESX, RHEL, CentOS Linux, Ubuntu and Windows Servers.
• Working knowledge with one or more database: DB2, SQL.
• Previous environment ownership experience (on-prem or hybrid), CI/CD Code promotion experience, expertise on at least one of the mentioned operating systems or hypervisor (VMware preferred).
• Working knowledge with one or more programming tools: Java, Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Perl, C++, C#.
• Working knowledge with one or more key infrastructure tools/products: Websphere, Active Directory, Ansible, Chef, BPM, Cloudex, etc.
• Working knowledge with Container technologies: Kubernetes(preferred),Docker,etc.
• Working knowledge with ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluent, and GitHub.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
• Experience with technologies enabling reliable data processing pipelines such as Kafka, Elasticsearch, Splunk; database and data visualization technologies for operations such as PostgreSQL Databases, DB2 Database, Influxdb, Grafana, Kibana.
• Knowledge on Network and Storage technologies.
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work.
• Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management.
• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Have development background (SDLC, Agile, Programming languages like JEE, .NET, Node JS, Powershell, etc., Code quality, security, Unit Testing). Experience with vCenter and VCF, VMware API’s.
