Application Developer
Forms+Surfaces is looking for an Application Developer to join our team
Job Location: Suzlon One Earth, Hadapsar, Pune
Scope and responsibilities:
• Understand company's requirements and how they translate in application features
• Developing software and application solutions to meet company's requirement.
• Creating and implementing the source code of new applications.
• Testing source code and debugging code.
• Evaluating existing applications and performing updates and modifications.
• Developing technical handbooks to represent the design and code of new applications.
• Experience in application and software development.
• Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications
• Design creative prototypes according to specifications
Required qualification, skills and experiences:
• Associates degree in computer programming.
• 5+ years of experience developing Microsoft .NET web applications utilizing ASP.NET C#.NET, VB.NET, and JavaScript
• Experience developing with front end libraries and frameworks like JQuery and AngularJS preferred
• Solid understanding of SQL query language and relational databases
• Proficiency in the development of database applications using Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience in the development of n-tier architecture applications in a business environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, and design and programming techniques
• Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer/user trust
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong communication and people skills
• 2+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Experience with SQL Business Intelligence Development Studio (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) is a plus
