Application Developer - SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL)
Job Title: – SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL)
Location: Bangalore, India
Experience: 7.5+ years
Education Qualification: BE or equivalent degree in Computer Science/IT/related field
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Developer with deep expertise in SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) to join our client’s dynamic delivery team . In this role, you'll design, build, and configure applications that align with business processes and application requirements. You'll work with cross-functional teams to shape and deliver intelligent, efficient, and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and configure applications using SAP FPSL to meet complex business process and application needs.
- Collaborate across functional and technical teams to analyze requirements and translate them into actionable development plans.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including design specs, test plans, deployment strategies, and user manuals.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must-Have: Minimum 7.5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL).
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting processes and industry practices.
- Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies (ASAP, Activate).
- Practical experience with SAP Solution Manager for system management.
- Nice to Have: Exposure to other SAP financial modules such as SAP S/4HANA Finance, FSCM, or SAP TRM.
Preferred Attributes:
- Solid troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with stakeholders and technical peers.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex development tasks and deliver business outcomes independently.
Additional Information:
- This position is based in Bangalore and may require occasional travel based on project needs.
- Candidates must possess relevant work authorization in India.
- Strong educational foundation and SAP FPSL certifications will be an added advantage.
