Job SummaryAs a Digital Engineering Web Developer, he/she must have:
5+ years of Web application development using various JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React JS, React Native and hands-on Experience in developing User Interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, bootstrap, Node.js, Material UI.
Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
The following is a summary of the essential functions of this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below Specific activities may change from time to time. As a Digital Engineering Web Developer, he/she should be able to perform the following duties:
• As part of a team, performs analysis, design, implementation, unit tests, and code reviews. Works with business stakeholders, managers, and other developers to create solutions to business problems.
• Translates functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs; Provides estimates for development effort; Implementing proof of concept, prototypes and production-grade software; writes unit tests;
• Supports Avantor Digital Engineering web applications for enhancements and break-fix.
• Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status.
• Deliver against specific timescales.
• Work in a collaborative team environment.
• A strong and innovative approach to problem-solving and finding solutions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate with business representatives, system analysts, managers etc.
• Able to comprehend business needs and concerns and integrate that understanding into design and implementation.
Knowledge Skills and other abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience and/or certificates.
• 5+ years of Web application development using various JavaScript frameworks like Angular, React JS, React Native
• At least 4 years of experience building mobile responsive application that includes experience with state management
• At least 4 years of experience building mobile responsive application that includes experience with with SSO user authentication
• At least 4 years of experience building mobile responsive application that includes experience with with material UI
• At least 4 years of experience building mobile responsive application that includes experience with with Angular Table component design and implementations
• Handson Experience in developing User Interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, bootstrap, Node.js, Material UI.
• Good Understanding of Document Object Model (DOM) and DOM Functions.
• Experience in working with RESTFUL Web Services and integrating RESTFUL API's.
• Knowledge implementing RESTFUL API's is an added advantage
• Experience on AWS Lambda, Docker/ container, VPC technologies
• Nice to have - Knowledge and understanding of relational database structure and design using MySql, Oracle 11G & PostgreSql.
