What will you be expected to do?
• Windows Installer (MSI), Application Compatibility and Intune.
• Specialist Level Skills in AdminStudio and InstallShield.
• Good knowledge of deploy applications using SCCM, MECM.
• Expertise of Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security and general operating system.
• Expertise on VBS and PowerShell scripts.
• Expertise in shimming is desirable.
• Expertise in Applications Upgrades and Retiring Old Versions.
• Experience in handling Driver, Add-In applications.
• Responsible for Change, Service request, Incidents, and other tasks.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex and Application issues using tools such as Process Monitor, Process Explorer and InstallRite.
• Experience in supporting and deploying Microsoft Intune, Including best practices for Intune software distribution and management to Windows PC’s.
• Experience of application support, administration, and troubleshooting, including Office add-ins (Microsoft 365).
Key Responsibilities
• Provide customer with submission support for Packaging Requests – Package Request Form (PRF) creation.
• 1. Validate the requirements generated by the application requestor.
• 2. Work with the Application Requestor to resolve any issues identified with requirements.
• 3. Advise the Application Requestor of the complexity category of the Packaging Request.
• 4. Obtain sign-off of the Packaging Request by Application Requestors.
• 5. Co-ordinate with Application Requestor and manage end to end user communication.
• Maintain records of applications, Application Requestors, Department, versions, and packaging status for all the applications in the applications list.
• Perform Pilot and UAT of Application Packages.
• Ensuring Process and SLA adherence.
• Daily reporting on the status of each request.
• Train and mentor new team members.
