Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Application Specialist & Sales Manager with strong expertise in Logistics IT solutions and CargoWise. This role combines sales, pre-sales, project conversion, and end-to-end CargoWise implementation.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to convert sales opportunities into successful projects, lead CargoWise implementation and integration, and act as a trusted solution advisor to logistics companies.
Key Responsibilities
CargoWise Application Specialist
Lead CargoWise implementation, configuration, and rollout
Handle CargoWise integrations with accounting, finance, customs, CRM, and third-party systems
Support data migration, UAT, user training, and post-go-live support
Act as the functional subject matter expert for CargoWise
Sales & Business Development
Drive sales of Logistics IT solutions to Freight Forwarders, CHAs, 3PLs, and Logistics companies
Identify, qualify, and convert leads into long-term projects
Conduct product demonstrations, solution presentations, and client discussions
Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure
Achieve revenue targets with performance-based incentives
Pre-Sales & Project Conversion
Understand customer business processes and logistics workflows
Convert sales discussions into clear project scopes and implementation plans
Coordinate with internal technical and product teams
Ensure smooth handover from sales to implementation
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during sales and implementation
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
Prepare functional documentation and implementation notes
Required Qualifications
Experience:
CCP – Certified CargoWise Professional (Must)
3–5 years of experience in:
Logistics IT solutions
Application consulting / implementation
Sales or pre-sales roles in the logistics domain
Skills & Expertise
Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics operations
Hands-on experience with CargoWise implementation and integration
Proven ability to convert sales into executable projects
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients
Language Requirements
English & Hindi (Required)
