The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Responsibilities: • Should play the role of full-stack technology lead. • Translate complex cross-functional business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solution • Design server side and client side architecture • As a lead, should be able to conceptualize the design before programming and take complete ownership of the module. • Should be able to design API layer using Java/J2EE, Spring technologies. • Should be able to design UI Layer using latest AngularJS version. • Good articulation and interpersonal skills required. • Monitor and control all phases of development process - analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide operational support on applications to business users • Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement • Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality • Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes • Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members Qualifications: • 10-13 years of must have hands-on experience in software web development, primarily using Java, Springboot, Spring JPA, JDBC, Hibernate, REST, Maven, AngularJS with exposure to microservices. • Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications • Experience in implementing Kafka consumers and subscribers, TIBCO EMS and SFTP using Java. • Experience in Angular using Type Script • Experience with development in an agile methodology using TDD/BDD best practices in a continuous integration environment with Junit • Good knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices using tools like Jenkins/Lightspeed, SONAR • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects • Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods • Working knowledge of containerization solutions (preferably OpenShift and Docker) • High levels of ownership and commitment on deliverables • Excellent verbal communication and problem solving skill • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements Education: • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
