Introduction:
Application Support Specialist to provide Level 2 incident management within the Corporate RtB estate
This will be supporting the introduction of the new Corporate Mobile application into RTB.
What will you be doing
• Level 2 incident management
• Issue triage, investigation and coordination to closure
• Data & Configuration changes execution
• Batch scheduling changes (Bank Holidays etc)
• Input into service improvements and stability activities
• Investigation and coordination to closure in support of triage and major incident calls
• Data & Configuration changes execution Batch scheduling changes (Bank Holidays schedules, etc)
• Supporting of Consultancy Requests
• Support data for Capacity/Performance Management
• Ad Hoc Reporting where appropriate
• On call support and ad-hoc overtime as appropriate
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a technical support / problem solving role
Previous experience of supporting Cloud hosted applications.
Must have knowledge on JAVA, SQL, UNIX
Knowledge on different monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, KIBANA, SPLUNK
Skills that will help you in the role:
Experience of continual integration Tools such as Jenkins
Experience in use of Cloud Computing and Containers, Clusters and knowledge of the Openshift console
Understanding of and experience of working with Oracle Databases
