Applied Computer Science (ACS) at UWinnipeg provides premier education and prepares students for further education and professional careers in applied computing and business. We challenge our students to develop analytical thinking, software design and development skills, and oral and written communication skills by blending theoretical and practical aspects of Computing and Information Systems.
The Applied Computer Science Technician is a full-time continuing position that supports the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure of the ACS department. The successful candidate will focus on achieving the functional IT requirements of the department using off-the-shelf hardware and software. Proper technical support is essential to the success and growth of ACS’s computing-based program.
