Job Description:
- Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Database Design experience.
- Oracle RDBMS10g/11g/12c, 18c and 1+c database Design, Administration and DB migration experience.
- Good Experience in migrating from Sybase/MSSQL/DB2/Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL to AWS (RDS & Aurora) & Azure SQL
- Good Architecture experience on MS SQL 2012, 2016 and 201+ and DB2 LUW versions
- Installation and configuration of Oracle databases, RAC, Data Guard, Golden Gate and other data replication software /tools.
- Expert with backup and recovery solutions including planning, implementing and periodic evaluation of backup/recovery (offline/online) and fast recovery strategies.
- Optimize Database performance and guide application team to tune the SQL queries.
- Cloud solution implementation and migration to Cloud Azure, AWS, OCI.
- Proven ability to improve internal processes and decisions when appropriate.
- Automation of database related activities.
- Expertise in cloud migration, with hands-on experience in AWS and Azure, including planning and implementing cloud-based solutions for database systems.
- Proven track record in cloud implementation engineering, ensuring smooth integration and operation of databases within cloud environments.
