Job Description
· Must have a minimum 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction, able to provide a security clearance and complete pre work fitness to work/Pre-Access A&D screening
· Must own small tools
· Must have own transportation with a valid driver’s license
· Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
To be successful in this position, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:
· Registered apprentice carpenter
· Ability to use general construction tools and equipment
· Ability to read and understand blueprints
· Concrete and forming experience an asset
· Wood framing experience an asset
· Door and hardware experience an asset
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Ability to organize, direct and control on-site construction
· Working well with a team of co-workers and subcontractors
· Ensuring safety procedures are being followed and in place
