JAX Tyres & Auto Narellan are seeking a motivated Apprentice Mechanic to join our team.
Are you looking for a hands-on role and a chance to get into the automotive industry?
We’re on the lookout for a motivated person to join our friendly and supportive team.
No experience? No worries – full training will be provided!
This is a full-time, hands-on role where you’ll work with premium tyre and mechanical brand across both passenger vehicles and SUV's. You’ll be helping our customers drive away with confidence and peace of mind.
Whether you’re already experienced or eager to expand your skills, we’ll support you with the right training and development.
What you’ll be doing
Assisting with vehicle servicing and repairs under supervision
Learning how to work on engines, brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and more
Supporting the team with diagnostics and maintenance tasks
Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Completing training requirements as part of your apprenticeship
Working collaboratively with qualified mechanics and team members
Following all safety protocols and company procedures
Fitting, balancing and rotating tyres for a range of vehicles
Performing tyre repairs and inspections
Assisting with stock handling and inventory when needed
What we’re looking for
A passion to learn and grow in the automotive trade
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
Strong attention to detail
Current valid Driver’s License (preferred)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A strong focus on safety and compliance with WHS regulations
