Work variety and room for personal growth can be achieved through this position. Candidates would be performing overhaul, modifications, repairs and mainly, refurbishment of Airport Self-Propelled Equipment, such as; tow tugs, cargo-loaders, belt-loaders, ground power units (generators), aircraft servicing units, passenger stairs, air starters, baggage tugs, deicing trucks, Forklifts, etc.
Skills required:
The ideal candidate would be just completing a mechanics course apprentice, have knowledge related to diesel and gas engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and pneumatic (air) systems.
Work under supervision, Repair machines within reasonable time standards.
Following company health & safety rules, must possess verbal and written English communications skills.
Experience required:
Experience of 1 or more years utilizing skills similar to the above, is an asset.
Trade Tools:
Candidates must have their own mechanic’s tools. Safety shoes a must
Work hours: 40 hours per week
Weekdays: Monday to Friday. Start 7:00-3:30
