We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Plumber to join our skilled team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to kickstart their career in plumbing. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the guidance of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in the plumbing trade. This role involves assisting with various plumbing tasks and learning essential skills necessary for a successful career in plumbing.
Duties
Installing septic tanks/cisterns
Treatment fields/mounds
Install and troubleshoot pumps
Water/Sewer lines
High/Low level alarms, and heat trace
Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools commonly used in plumbing work.
Basic understanding of carpentry principles is a plus.
Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain plumbing systems effectively.
Capability to build and assemble plumbing components as directed.
Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints is beneficial.
Eagerness to learn about plumbing systems, techniques, and best practices.
