Duties
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively for assembly and repair tasks
Perform basic math calculations to measure materials and ensure proper fitting of components
Support the installation of piping, fixtures, and related plumbing components according to specifications
Participate in site preparation, including carpentry work or minor construction tasks as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
Follow all safety protocols and procedures during project execution
Experience
Prior experience or familiarity with mechanical knowledge, carpentry, HVAC systems, or construction is advantageous but not required
Basic understanding of plumbing principles is preferred but training will be provided
Experience with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, welding, or assembly work is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills with an aptitude for learning technical concepts related to plumbing systems
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to plumbing projects
Willingness to learn maintenance procedures and develop technical expertise in plumbing trades
