Job Title: Apprentice Plumber—Residential & New Construction

Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Apprentice Plumber with basic plumbing knowledge to join our residential new construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade while gaining hands-on experience on active job sites under the supervision of licenced plumbers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation of plumbing systems for newly constructed single-family homes and residential buildings.
Help with rough-in work, including water supply lines, drain-waste-vent systems, and fixture placements.
Help with fit-offs, which includes intricate work with power tools to install bathroom appliances.
Cut, measure, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools.
Read and interpret residential blueprints and job specifications.
Maintain job site cleanliness, organisation, and safety.
Follow local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with site supervisors, other trades, and team members.
Track and report completed tasks to senior plumbers or site foremen.
Minimum Qualifications:
Basic understanding of plumbing systems and tools.
Exposure to or experience with residential construction (e.g., trade school, summer work, or related labour).
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and perform physical labour in outdoor and indoor construction environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Enrolment in or recent completion of a plumbing apprentice or vocational program.
Familiarity with residential blueprint reading.
OSHA 10 certification or other construction-related safety training.
Basic knowledge of local residential plumbing codes.
