Apprentice Plumber

ProMaxx Mechanical Ltd.
We are seeking a motivated and well-rounded 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in underground installations along with exposure to new residential and commercial construction. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full scope of plumbing projects while continuing to build strong trade skills.
Responsibilities
Assist journeyman plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial new construction projects
Contribute to underground plumbing work, including sanitary and storm systems, water services, and rough-ins
Support layout and grading tasks, including setting grade with appropriate tools and equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications
Install piping systems, fixtures, and related components according to code and project requirements
Safely use hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment
Assist with site preparation, trenching support, material handling, and cleanup
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and company procedures
Perform basic measurements, material take-offs, and layout assistance as needed
Work collaboratively with team members and other trades on-site
Experience & Qualifications
Registered 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Plumber
Experience in underground plumbing installations is considered a strong asset
Exposure to new residential and/or commercial construction projects
Familiarity with grading, elevations, and layout is an asset
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
