Mandatory: Python , Django , Postgres , strong logical skills , strong operating system concepts, strong data structure concepts , multithreading concepts.
Good to have: Knowledge of REDIS , Mongo Database, Elastic Search, Cassandra, micro-service architecture, MQTT,Message queues like Rabbit MQ , Kafka , 3rd party API integrations like payment gateways , email API's , SMS API's. Experience with Pandas, NumPy ,Scikit would be a great addition.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills , high spirited , eager to learn , able to perform in a high pressure environment
