APS6 Compliance Assurance and Secretariat Support Officer
Approximate 4-month contract Canberra Location $6+.15 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation Baseline Clearance Essential
OVERVIEW
Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Compliance Assurance and Secretariat Support Officer to join their team at the APS6 level. Within this role your focus will be assisting with compliance assurance activities being under taken within the section. Additionally, you will provide secretariat support services for a regular committee meeting.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertaking compliance assurance activities, including engaging with stakeholders, gathering evidence, and preparing reports with recommendations and actions to mitigate compliance concerns
Providing Secretariat support services, including managing meeting bookings, preparing minutes and liaising with key stakeholders as required
Analysing data and review documentation to inform assurance review findings and actions
Assisting with compliance assurance plans to address potential program risks
Writing compliance assurance reports and internal briefing documents as required
Providing timely and accurate input to reports as required.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned.
Proven experience in providing secretariat support, including managing meeting schedules, booking venues, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure seamless meeting arrangements.
Demonstrated experience in undertaking compliance assurance activities.
Strong analytical skills to assess data and documentation, providing insights and informed recommendations for assurance reviews.
