Duties
Implement web development plans and strategies to enhance the Departments website.
Create, update and manage content for the website.
Support the production and maintenance of web-based reports.
Ensure the website is optimised for performance, accessibility and user experience.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of web development efforts and make data-driven improvements.
Capabilities
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal or Joomla.
Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and SEO principles.
Familiarity with web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
Desirable additional skills: Knowledge using ADOBE suite including Illustrator and experience in creating graphics.
