About the role:
This role plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality of the swimming & water safety teaching standard at SGAC. You will be responsible for:
training, observing and developing our aquatic program team
overseeing program quality and implementing best practices.
Conducting observations of the team, delivering impactful feedback that identifies skill gaps and unleashing proactive solutions to enhance their understanding and capabilities.
Empower our learn to swim teachers to perform at their absolute best, all while creating an unforgettable experience for our members.

What do you need to be considered?
AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety
AUSTSWIM Teacher of Towards Competitive Strokes
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (minimally TAE40116) - Desirable
First Aid Certificate
CPR Accreditation
Working with Children Check
5+ Years’ experience in teaching Swimming & Water Safety
5+ Years’ Demonstrated Programming, Administration, Training Implementation and delivery
Broad industry experience
Demonstrated understanding of the aquatics industry, swimming and child development and technical training requirements from the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations (GSPO)
Capacity to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite
Capacity to effectively use Xplor Recreation Customer Retention Management System (Desirable)
