Role Description: As an Architect with commercial experience, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of commercial projects, from conceptualization through construction. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and construction teams to ensure that all designs meet client needs, are compliant with regulations, and are completed on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage the architectural design process for commercial projects, including retail, office buildings, and mixed-use developments. • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into creative and functional design solutions. • Prepare detailed architectural plans, drawings, and specifications. • Oversee the development of project documentation, including design briefs, feasibility studies, and cost estimates. • Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, zoning laws, and regulations. • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and other teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals. • Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure project adherence to design and quality standards. • Mentor and guide junior architects and design staff. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture. • Licensed Architect with 6+ years of experience in commercial architecture. • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful Corporate projects. • Proficient in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and zoning laws. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Experience with sustainable design practices is a plus.
