Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Architect - DevOps with 8 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in AWS DevOps and SRE. This hybrid role requires working in a day shift with no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust DevOps solutions to enhance our infrastructure and operations.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable and reliable DevOps solutions to support our infrastructure and operations.
Oversee the deployment automation and management of AWS cloud environments.
Provide expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to ensure high availability and performance of systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps best practices.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
Monitor and optimize system performance reliability and security.
Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts to resolve production issues.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in all DevOps processes.
Mentor and guide junior team members in DevOps practices and technologies.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of systems to identify areas for improvement.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of DevOps operations.
Qualifications
Possess strong experience in AWS cloud services and architecture.
Demonstrate expertise in DevOps practices tools and methodologies.
Have a solid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
Show proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab or CircleCI is required.
Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is essential.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to mentor and guide junior team members in DevOps practices.
Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
Proven track record of implementing and managing scalable and reliable DevOps solutions.
