Job Summary:
The Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects from conception to completion. This role involves creating innovative and functional designs that meet client requirements, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and managing project teams. The Architect plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality architectural solutions that align with both aesthetic and functional objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and Planning:
• Develop and present architectural designs and concepts based on client requirements, project specifications, and site conditions.
• Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software and other design tools.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and incorporate their feedback into design solutions.
• Project Management:
• Oversee the planning and execution of architectural projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless integration of design and construction processes.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, and address any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure that all architectural designs and plans comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant standards and regulations.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities and oversee the submission of required documentation.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication:
• Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to provide updates and address any concerns.
• Present design concepts and project proposals to clients, stakeholders, and review boards, and make necessary revisions based on feedback.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material selections, and other project-related documents.
• Innovation and Research:
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architecture and design.
• Explore innovative design solutions and incorporate sustainable practices into architectural projects.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Work closely with other architects, designers, and project team members to ensure cohesive and integrated project outcomes.
• Provide guidance and support to junior architects and design staff, and contribute to the development of design standards and practices.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of design processes, project documentation, and correspondence.
• Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and presentations as required.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Registration or licensure as an architect is required.
• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes.
• Excellent design and conceptual skills, with the ability to create innovative and functional solutions.
• Strong project management abilities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
