Requirements:
• 16+ years of hands-on experience in some of the following: Java (must have), MVC, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services and API development using REST or SOAP, Windows 2003/2008/7 server, IIS 7.0 Linux.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Design and implementation of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and Tools Migration and consolidation using one or more of the DevOps tools/technologies.
• Experience building robust and scalable distributed systems and experience with multitiered production application deployments.
• Experience with one or more of the following databases: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Couchbase, Redis, Elastic Search, or other NoSQL technologies.
• Ability to accurately estimate software development tasks given a set of requirements and assumptions; ability to work with Project Managers to develop task-level project plans and proposals.
• High proficiency in cloud design and deployment models.
• Ability to develop secure solutions and knowledge of industry best practices regarding information security and defensive development.
• Understanding of deployment architecture and infrastructure in both on-prem and cloud hosting environments.
• Excellent oral and written communication with an ability to articulate complex systems to external teams (sales, product, external vendors).
• Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and limitation issues.
